Fun Spring Break

Last week we had a wonderful time with Mr. H's sister and her family during Spring Break. Love you sis!!! It was so fun and we loved that they traveled from so far to see us. I went a little overboard and planned so many fun things for us to do. Here are a few pictures from our exciting week.

On Monday, we went to the Zoo. Treble was so good and so were his cute cousins. My sweet cousin came too. It was crowded at the zoo but we really had fun!

This was in a part of the ZOO called Texas Wild.

Tuesday we went on this great vintage railroad.

I just love this picture of Mr. H and Treble!

We went to The big city, stayed for a few hours and then took the train back.

That night went to the Cheesecake factory. So yummy!

Wednesday was spent shopping, getting manicures and the Medieval times. The show was great but Treble didn't like the loud noises. One of Treble's cousins wasn't too happy either.

Thursday we went to a children's museum in the big city and went to a IMAX movie about Sharks. It was crowded again (of course). The oldest cousin loved the slide in the gift shop and I had fun spending some time with him.

That night we took pictures of Treble and his cute cousin (with matching outfits we purchased the day before). Treble and Kay (as she'll be known) are about 2 months apart.

And took some family pictures too.

Our fun vacation was over when our family left to go back home on Friday morning :( Love you guys!

The Big 3-0

Since I’m new to the blogging world, its taking me some time to get things up and running! But thanks to my sister, Cherry, I’m getting the hang of it.

Christmas is way too big of a story so we’ll go with my birthday. It was the big 3-0 for me this year and Mr. Harmony, Treble and I took a trip to San Antonio. Our reasons for going were really work related but it was a fun trip for my birthday. (Incidentally, this work related conference happens every year on my birthday so I’ve celebrated my past 3 birthdays in San Antonio).

Before we left, Mr. H wanted me to open some presents at home. We have a tradition of getting the ugliest wrapping paper possible. He couldn’t find any ugly enough so he wrapped the present with an old t-shirt. I was happy to rip the shirt up. I’d never really liked it!

Here’s what I got.

A Cricut Create! (And three cartridges) Yeah. I’ve been playing with it since I got it and already need new cutting mats. I love you, Mr. H!

At the conference, we stayed in a very nice hotel. I love you again, Mr. H! On my birthday I opened a few gifts we brought along. Thanks Mom-in-law for the jacket!

Treble did great in his stroller most of each day, he loved being pushed around. What a life!

On the way back home we stayed at a friends and I got ‘Bath and Body Works’ stuff! Yeah again.

It was a great birthday. Thanks, Cherry, for helping me with this. I'm feeling more blog-confidant and my next one I'll do on my own.

New Years Resolution- in February

Back in January I decided I would start a blog of my own, a New Years Resolutions, if you will. And look, now it's February and I'm finally making time for it. I don't like the idea of putting all my info out there for anyone to see but then my sister, Cherry, had a brilliant idea; use pseudonyms. So, let me introduce you to my family. We'll be calling ourselves the Harmony Family (because music is a HUGE part of our lives). I'm the wife and mom, Mrs. Harmony. My wonderful, talented husband will be know as Mr. Harmony. Our cute (I mean, handsome) little boy will be called Treble (his voice hasn't changed yet). Mr. H doesn't like anything concerning Treble to be labeled as "cute" so I'll try to refrain from using the 'c' word. Okay that's it for now. Perhaps my sister will be appeased for now that I've started my blog.
